Decorative Feature<\/strong><\/td>\r\n Surface decorative features are, 1) a sharp decorative line\/rod around the neck of the vessel, 2) Used the sharpening tool to create multiple lines in various parts around the vessel including the upper and lower part of the neck and in the shoulder, 3) Used Rouletted decoration techniques creating the triangle shape patterns around the shoulder of the vessel, and 4) around the attached section between the body and the base, there is also a sharp decorative line\/rod around the base switch between carved lines.<\/td>\r\n <\/tr>\r\n

Remark <\/strong><\/td>\r\n Roulette decoration refers to the decorative technique of pressing the rouletted tool\/mold on the surface of pottery while it is still wet to create a pattern. This technique was the Indo-Roman practice which was introduced to Haripunjaya via Myanmar.
